Why are you hitting a wall of silence?

Gapless playback is a reality.

If you have windows media player, foobar (which can play nearly any format and is free), winamp, etc...
I don't know about iThong from Crapple, because I don't support fascism, but I'm sure they can manage it too.

If you're burning CDs you can remove the gaps with NERO (amongst others).

Just google "gapless playback"

How do I record over my 8 tracks again? I forgot.
Been trying to get the new Lady Gaga over my old Europe 72
and it just aint taking... must be some special moma-bob-adapterism.
You know what I like to do during the 1 or 2 seconds between
tracks if that so happens (if you let it), is to reflect
upon my life and the decisions Ive made or haven't made, and really dig deep, and thoughts concerning those of others how might feel upon the matter and.oh look at that butterfly. Has it been 2 seconds yet?.............OH shit. F~ that! Fire on the Mountain is playing finally after that one second pause. What was I thinking?
Long distance runner what you holding out for?

I'd like to step in just to say that nothing about archive.org sucks including the embedded player.
I am thankful for every second of hard work from every contributor to the creation of this site, the music, taping and the up loader.
If I forgot something it was unintentional

And to MONTE B COWBOY I am baffled by that 1 star review on such a cool show that was clearly tracked and labeled.

1. JackaRhodie - Not too baffling. The internet trolls are singing "If You Don't Know Me By Now...".

2. TDC - Find gapless playback asap. We all hate the gap.

3. Thanks to recordists of all kinds.

My thoughts entirely. If I'm just casually listening on the mp3 player, I'll ignore the (miniscule) gaps, however, if I want to have a serious session, it'll be on the big stereo incorporating a CD (or DVD) player and using CDs/DVDs burnt having clicked on the "no gaps between tracks" button.

I see so many shows being down-rated because e.g. "Good Lovin'" is split into 3 (pt1, drums & pt2) when the show itself is good and the answer to the problem (not really a problem) is so simple.

A lot of fuss over nothing

You don't support fascism, yet you use Windows? It is to laugh.

Ah, I have yet to have windows slap DRM on my files... I do support cut throat capitalism.

Yes, I have considered this.
I'd still need Windows for my games, so I figure if I have been pigeon holed into Windows or Mac, Windows it is.
